  1. I've watched many films with Anne Hathaway and like them all. Most of all I was impressed by her acting in the film Becoming Jane (2007) as Jane Austen. I was estonished by her grace and ability to express any emotion like she lives her character's life.

  4. Anne Hathaway looked stunning in every scene of 'The Devil wears Prada' (one of my favorite films actually). To prepare for Prada, Hathaway was given one savory task: Eat! "The director and producers asked me to gain 10 lbs.," says Hathaway, who happily chowed on pizza, beer and ice cream. But when costume designer Patricia Field met with Hathaway for a fitting, she told the actress, "This isn't going to work. You have to fit into couture. Lose 10 lbs.," Hathaway says. "It was a nightmare. It took me about a month to gain it and two months to lose it!" Personally I think that Anne Hathaway is a determined actress, who knows the price of success!

  5. Also today Robert Mangold was born. “Robert Mangold’s paintings,” wrote Michael Kimmelman in the New York Times in 1997, “are more complicated to describe than they seem, which is partly what’s good about them: the way they invite intense scrutiny, which, in the nature of good art, is its own reward.” His works are comprised often of simple elements which are put together through complex means. Mangold's work challenges the typical connotations of what a painting is or could be, and his works often appear as objects rather than images. Elements refer often to architectural elements or have the feeling of an architect's hands. He almost always works in extensive series, often carried through both paintings and works on paper.
