Robert Lee Frost (March 26, 1874 – January 29, 1963) was an American poet. He is highly regarded for his realistic depictions of rural life and his command of American colloquial speech. His work frequently employed settings from rural life in New England in the early twentieth century, using them to examine complex social and philosophical themes. One of the most popular and critically respected American poets of his generation, Frost was honored frequently during his lifetime, receiving four Pulitzer Prizer for Poetry. 

Alan Wolf Arkin (born March 26, 1934) is an American actor, director, musician and singer. He is known for starring in such films as Wait Until Dark, The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Catch-22, The In-Laws, Little Miss Sunshine, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and Argo, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

 Amy Lysle Smart (born March 26, 1976) is an American film and television actress and former fashion model.
Smart's first film role was in director Martin Kunert's film “Campfire Tales”, followed by a small role as Queenie in the 1996 rendition of John Updike's short story, "A&P".She had a minor role in the 1997 film “Starship Troopers”. She had a starring role in the mini-series The 70s, playing a young woman from Ohio.In 1999, Smart played the girlfriend of a popular American football player  in the film “Varsity Blues”, re-uniting her with Larter. She co-starred in the films “Road Trip” (2000), “Rat Race” (2001), “Starsky & Hutch” (2004), and “The Butterfly Effect” (2004). In 2005, Smart co-starred with Ryan Reynolds in the romantic comedy film “Just Friends”. In 2011, Smart joined the Showtime drama/comedy “Shameless” as the recurring character Jasmine Hollander. She continues to guest star in season two, which began airing January 8, 2012.
 
James E. Caan (born March 26, 1940) is an American actor. He is best known for his starring roles in The Godfather, Thief, Misery, A Bridge Too Far, Brian's Song, Kiss Me Goodbye, Elf, and El Dorado. He also starred as "Big Ed" Deline in the television series Las Vegas.
Caan is a practicing martial artist. He has trained with Takayuki Kubota for nearly thirty years, earning various ranks. He is a Master (Rank = 6 Dan) of Gosoku Ryu Karate and was granted the title of Soke Dai by the International Karate Association. Caan trained the Culver City Police Department in martial arts use.

  1. Thomas Lanier "Tennessee" Williams III was born in this day too. He was an American writer who worked principally as a playwright in the American theater. He also wrote short stories, novels, poetry, essays, screenplays and a volume of memoirs. His professional career lasted from the mid-1930s until his death in 1983, and saw the creation of many plays that are regarded as classics of the American stage. Williams adapted much of his best known work for the cinema.
